I think if you are on the top plan and spend a lot you can upgrade every year

I can upgrade 17 April...will take the 64GB S6 Edge. Only concern is the availability of a proper case (not the garish avenger ones) to protect the edge screen.

That turns me off a lot considering the UHD screen, glass edges and associated screen replacement cost. Handset insurance is ridiculous. Apple still has their iCare for accidental damage - Samsung should then introduce something similiar as I would pay for it in a heartbeat!

According to the Samsung site, you get a wireless charger for preordering (hope that's true).
MTN has the S6 in 32gb only and the Edge in 64gb only and colours for both are only black and white. Cell C doesn't have any specific information. Alas, no prices anywhere.
