Samsung Galaxy S6

First day of use

just finsihed flashing my daughter's phone (well it's busy booting up), had to go through the whole "deleting the hidding.img file" from the .tar.md5 file.
 
Flashing as I type.

*fingers crossed*

Success: Had to do the hidden.IMG thing.

Android 7 is utter ****e, or maybe just the rom i used. Very buggy and lotsa niggles, im reverting back to 6.01
 
Sammobile is down, does anyone have a link to a 6.01 for me, preferably SA build?

You're probably going to get the OTA for Nougat within the next couple of weeks if you're on BTU.

It definitely sounds like the flash didn't go great, factory reset or reflash would've probably fixed it and you can just apply a dark theme if you don't like the white.

Wait for the OTA and maybe consider updating that way.

Yeah ure right, maybe a factory reset.

The one other thing i see people complain about and im also seeing. When u have a widget on the home screen to lock the phone with then u cannot unlock with fingerprints. The only way fingerprint unlock works is if the screen timed uot by itself without a widget press. It really irks me, and seems to be the norm for nougat users, even on S7

This is not a samsung thing but an android thing... i even have this on my LG V20. And yes, it's a pain the bum, but as per normal one gets used to it.
 
Also had to delete hidden.img

Apparently the Hidden.img contains the CSC info. Might have to reflash with the PIT if 4g/Radio does not function.
