am i correct in saying the whole xfa /xfu is regarding the baseband right?

I have the GT-920F, Baseband g920fXXU3QOJN , phone was orginally a cell c contract phone phone but I use it on vodacom. Just tried upgrading to teh UK VOD 6.01 firmware and soft bricked the phone (think it was because I had the samsung device protection on it so wouldn't let odin flash) waiting for the the XEU version to download now, will also start from a fresh format on the phone. Hopefully it works.

Also I see now when you flash you have to do something with a PIT file, is this mandatory? Never had to do this before on my old samsung phones when i flashed them
 
Well its stable and seems to last a bit longer.
Been running it for a while now & have no complaints.
 
Hi all,

Anyone sent in their S6 for ADH screen repair and if so how long did you go without your phone?

I need to find a repair shop in the east rand?
 
SSS Cellular in Boksburg is an authorized repair centre in Boksburg, and they generally have a 5 hour turn-around time for most repairs.

Called SSS now, 3 to 5 day turn around...apparently a backlog...if I had a buck for every time I heard that. Anyway, thanks for the help guys, at least I know where to take it and its close. Appreciate.
 
Question...I got my S6 less than a year ago and took it in to SSS Cellular for ADH repair to the screen. They say the system says 12 months have passed which its not. Now I can't find the flippen receipt but def registered it for ADH. Surely there must be somewhere one can check to see when the actual registration of the ADH was cause that will have the IMEI number as well.

Any help!

They normally email you once you've registered, confirming it.

Search your mailbox for ADH

Sweet - called Sasmsing ADH now - I just need to go get a copy of my contract from the voda shop and take that to the repair centre.
