Samsung Galaxy S7

I had an S6 flat before I sold it. I found it a bit small as I also have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (which is basically a 9.7 Tab version of the S6 but on older software - 5.0.2).
After using the Tab I used to peer at the S6 screen and wish it was slightly larger, so the S7 Edge seems just right for me.
It all boils down to that American saying; "Different strokes for different folks". (proverb - different things appeal to different people.) :)

I was seriously considering the Note5 in December, but my upgrade is only due in April.

I was due for a upgrade on the 8th of December, i'm still considering the note 5 as it is quite a bit cheaper lately also the G4 lol.
But it's hard buying older gen phones when the new ones has launched or are just around the corner :D

So, anyone else with Vodacom going through the upgrade process yet?

What the site say when you log in?

Upgrade status : Awaiting stock

I haven't tried online but i have phoned the upgrade center but it seems their pricing is not sorted out properly.\
The agent asked if she could call me back once pricing is fixed.

So, just looked at it again.

Besides the curve and the battery, there are no obvious differences.

And the just to throw the Note5 into the mix (http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=7945&idPhone2=7821&idPhone3=7431). My problem with the S6 and Note5 were that they did not have a slot to expand the memory. With the S7 it is possible again, so my Simfy Africa collection will have a room to stay in on the new phone.

I have initially made my mind up to take the S7 then today i played with my mother's S6 edge+ and it's nice.
But i'm unsure if it's worth the extra money seeing as the contract prices aint cheap lately..
Think i'm gonna take the normal S7, sell the iphone and wait for the nexus later in the year :D

Try a size comparison:

Thanks for the link, seeing that makes me settle for the S7. It's gonna live inside a case anyway :)

Speaking of cases, have you seen the ones Samsung made for the S7 and Edge?

Check this link they look awesome!, sadly most won't make it to our shores :(

Witch phone are you going for Astro?

Edge :)

I'll likely use the phone without a cover for the first month or 3 (I usually do) but hoping to get one of the covers Samsung made for the devices via rewards as I have around 215k points on there at the moment.

Clearview, Clear or LED view for preference (in that order) although the backpack looks interesting but also looks like it would be very bulky for everyday use.
