Samsung Galaxy S9

Here is my S9+ battery info from that app. I took the picture while being on 32% battery and plugged into the charger. It is strange. I will monitor it.

Why is my battery health not 3500mah? View attachment 508779

Battery capacities are usually not 100% of what is stated on the cells/battery pack. Every battery will be slightly different. Batteries will also degrade with recharge cycles, especially if you let your battery run to 0% frequently and if you expose them to heat more often.

From what I read, best practice is to keep your battery between 80-60%. This is not very practical so I just try to keep mine charged all the time.

After 6 or 7 months my S8 sits at 2700 mah which is 90%. I'm a heavy user though and I am not sure what I started with.

You'll find that with cheap power banks that they have a lot less Mah than is stated. Good quality power banks (more expensive cells) are usually 90% - 95% of the stated Mah.

I am guessing that it is the same case with phones.

Lol, how accurate is this app though???

My Note8 is 98% ,I got it on launch in September 2017, so over 6months ago.

How can my battery health be better than that of a newer S9+

What could explain this is the lower charge cycles of all your phones. Your phones may still need to reach 100% before they start dropping.
