Samsung Galaxy Tab contract pricing compared

Well, we know who the cheapest is, but they're all a rip-off.

Really, 500MB of data for a tablet? Wow, you guys are too kind...

After using the iphone 4 I don't think I would be satisfied with anything other than the ipad.
Apple just has from the best touch screens around that I have tested.

Way to go Cell C! the talk time is an added bonus, Of course it would be silly to move around the street using the Galaxy Tab as a cell phone, but when at home, why the hell not! and one could always swap the sim into the normal cell phone and you're ready to go!

LOL sorry, but had to chuckle at the sight of someone using it as a phone :D

Am I the only one who whats this? Android in general is awesome and this looks like a nice addition!
Apple is overrated!

I prefer not having Flash on my iPhone. But on a tablet, gotta have it. I want the full web experience, thank you very much.

Samsung's latest touch screen tech is just as advanced as Apple's now. Look on Youtube for multi-touch tests. I would link one myself but I'm very close to being capped.
I believe the other manufacturers use touch sensors from the same company so most of the recent high end phones should match Apple's accuracy now.

Why do you PREFER not having flash on your phone? I agree that on a tablet it is a must, non optional for me. But if my phone has it, I would prefer that over it not having it.

People are so typically predictable and lazy. Take the time to go to a vendor and do your own research before having a fit over what some 3rd party advertises.

Those are the prices that MTN, Vodacom and Cell-C WANT to sell to the public so that they can make money by locking you into a data and minutes contract. But you can still get a Galaxy Tab without having to pay for the data/minutes. I was at Cellucity yesterday and said I wasn't willing to pay for the minutes/data, so what can they do.

I unfortunately don't have the print out with me but essentially, you can get a tab for R190pm (or so) with a pay in of R3600 (or so). This is over 24 months. OR you can pay the R190pm and also R160pm (or so) instead of the cash pay in. This doesn't include DATA, which you can buy prepaid rather, but works out to around 8k (or so) for the tablet. Like I said, I don't have the print out so those numbers are not 100% accurate.

If this is still too high you can stop moaning about it and order an Archos 101 for under 4k from expansys.co.za
