Samsung handset problems with Windows 7

According to a Samsung representative the fault can be attributed to the market segment to which Windows 7 was aiming.
Making stupid claims like that eliminates one more manufacturer from the list of possible sources for my next phone.

I disposed of all Samsung phones in my household when it's PC sync software could not sync with Outlook 2003 let alone 2007 now I'm really smiling

Win 7 is incompatible with a lot of things. Sure blame can be laid at Samsung, but as far as Win 7 and Vista compatibility goes: MS are to be blamed the most.

These Samsung jokers, having stated that the issue will be resolved soon, are looking more stupid by the day.

So, a few thousand bucks for the phone, how many visits to tech shops, multiple downloads and coxing of the terminally below par New PC Studio - and still no joy, never again will I buy a Samsung phone.

Ever. P o S.

Everyone I know with a Samsung, had it fail on them at some stage - but generally software.

When the i780 came out with WM6, I decided to buy it due to the OS not being Samsung. Phone still only lasted 18 months :(

Won't get anotherr either

Also heard that about Samsung phones.

Maybe they should rather stick to making microwaves and LCD TVs.
