The way Apple is going about this I will stop buying Apple products no matter how good/smart/beautiful their products are. It's like Apple is losing their edge ... using litigation to hang onto a lead that they project they will lose to companies like Samsung who now innovates at a much faster pace ... giving much larger strides forward. The power shift to the East that the West fears playing itself out here?

If The iPhone 5 Really Looks Like This, Apple May Be Screwed...

Over the past few days, the latest round of purported pictures of Apple's forthcoming iPhone 5 have hit the web. And I can't be the only potential customer who is deflated by what they see. In fact, I'll go far enough to say that, if the iPhone 5 looks like the pictures that have recently appeared, Apple may be screwed.

Why?

Because the "iPhone 5" looks pretty much like the iPhone 4S. Which looked exactly like the iPhone 4, a phone that is now two years old. In the meantime, Samsung and other manufacturers have come out with phones that make people's jaws drop, such as the Galaxy S3, which has a (relatively) humongous screen.

Although the Apple faithful may start hyperventilating about things like the movement or elimination of a button, most phone buyers couldn't care less. Now that most phones do the same things and work pretty much the same way, the most obvious (and, arguably, important) difference between them is the screen.

Lol the fact that these comments are coming from a previous hardcore Apple fan that I may have even called isheep just shows how badly these frivolous lawsuits are affecting Apples brand.

I too like Apple devices especially for their build quality but this whole debacle is putting me of them completely...really starting to like HTC now after owning the one x for a while(regret selling it now) and will probably be moving on to nokia wp8 if they are good.

You may just be right about east vs west playing out,it really does seem that the judge wants Apple to win the case right from the onset,maybe to protect the US economy a bit?Not unlikely.

They were almost down and out but stood up and fought back and started winning. They were the different ones, like me. They represented the different ones ... the creative types, the rebels. But since iPhone got them on top they have become bullies, and even worse ones than those that came before. They are now the company representing everyone ... iPads everywhere ... most money ... most profitable ever, etc. The kings ... and the now want everyone to know and feel their power.

The pimpel-faced outcast smart kid with the weird hairstyle and worn-out sneakers became a classy executive in an Armani suit with the best of everything at hand ... getting all those back that diss'd him at school.

I really admire someone who is willing to re-evaluate his mind set from a neutral perspective,well done buddy.
