Point&shot cameras are fully automatic and take videos too. I would carry PS camera with me if I could use SIM cards in such device. More convenient than carrying large phablets. R2K PS + cost of R1K of cheap LTE phone feature, for total R3K.
but again lets think about the AI that these mobile phones have, the photos are really awesome
It looks like AI just increase saturation. Pics looks better, but artificial if you compare with original. I read from the review that Huawei do not tune AI to the extreme and HDR is optional, which is nice. I wouldn't like my family photos to look like standard background pictures on my lock screen. .LOL.
BTW, These pictures taken for the review of Huawei Mate 20 are very good.
please provide link to the Mate 20 images.... whats the megapixel on that one

The phone does that by having dual sensors and some image processing. Point and shoots won't really do that, as they have single sensors, and they don't have a low enough f-stop usually to create meaningful depth of field limiting unless your background is very far away.
As an aside, my pet peeve is that it's technically not bokeh, but really simple depth of field effect. Proper bokeh has to do with how the out-of-focus points are affected. See here:

The Huawei Mate 20 launch appears to be happening on Oct 16, there are no concrete details or example images from the camera of that model yet.

No need to resize in Xenforo, the forum software will size to fit, that was a straight screenshot.
Life is too short to be worrying about a few MB of a screenshot.

There is no need to get angry because you confused the Huawei P20 Pro and the Huawei Mate 20, I’m sure many people would get confused with similar names like that.
I’m sorry to say I can only upload images as the forum does so, I am unable to pander to the unreasonable requests of a tiny minority who see 8MB as a gigantic amount.
If you aren’t aware, most browsers have to ability to turn off the display of the images while browsing. If you will let me know which browser and operating system you are using I will endeavour to help you learn how to stop your browser loading images.
Wrong. It is not me who confused and still is confusing Mate 20 with Mate 20 Lite, you do. I will be the same angry in regard to any idiot who is trying to take an advantage or take a personal vendetta when someone makes a mistake, then he trash my browser with 8.6MB screenshot in BMP format. This was what Mr Junky Dave did last night.
I didn't mention Mate 20 in any my posts. I saw a new Mate 20 Lite review a day before and posted a comment based on that link, as this phone created my personal interest. Then I was requested a link to this 20M pixel phone, I just copy/pasted the wrong link from the browser history. There is no way I would confuse a phone with 40M pixels camera with 20M pixels.
