Samsung tries to block iPhone 5

South Korea’s Samsung Electronics will file lawsuits to try to block the sale of Apple’s iPhone 5 as part of its global legal tussle with the US technology giant, a report said Tuesday.

The headline contains the news. What's the rest of the writing about?

This is becoming incredible annoying.
Apple should withdraw their ban and Samsung should also stop this block sue.

"Despite their legal battles, Apple is one of the biggest customers for Samsung’s chips and display screens."

LOL, they're just shooting themselves in the foot.

Apple will not pull punches.

The only way to win in this situation is to take Apple head on. If Apple wants to play, then they must play against an entire country. Go South Korea make us proud!

I wish Samsung would block the iPhone 5 in South Africa ;)

Apple is already moving away from Samsung parts. The next CPU will be manufactured in Taiwan. Sharp will manufacture future screens. Apple is the only company that pays in advance for future production output so they are the holy grail of contracts. Samsung will feel this far more than Apple.

A cross patent agreement is the way to go for both companies but one gets the impression that this will not happen as if Samsung did something that up-setted Apple in a big way, forcing Apple to take on their chief parts supplier in this aggressive manner.

BTW, this is not a thing Apple started. Companies like Kodak, Nokia and Motorola were - to date - far more aggressive in this regard, with Apple their favourite target. Apple has been on the receiving end most of the time. Apple cannot always take it on the chin and not do some punching of their own.
