Samsung PS51F5500 Plasma

Hi,

I have a PS51F5500 for sale it's old and has 3 white vertical lines running down the right side of the TV it's distracting at first but been using it as my main TV for a while and have gotten used to it. All the ports and everything else on the TV is working great. Thought I'd offer to a plasma fan first before adding it to the forums.

I'm dreading mine failing, do let us know if you find anything worthy of replacing it.
 
Seems I am also falling victim to the vertical line death. I bought this TV from a friend last year while I had my Hisense repaired. It's old and has been heavily used in his kids room, so there are some burn in. It also came without a stand so I had some fun sorting that out.

After I got my Hisense back I took the Samsung to our holiday house where it sees infrequent use and this is a more moist environment. Each time we get here it seems to have developed a new line running down it.

It's alive!! Did a full power disconnect for 5 minutes and it appears to be back in business.
 
It seems its intermittent, because it came back, same place. Apparently the ribbon cable connections to the screen get dodgy and can be cleaned, so will maybe give that a go....
