Samsung S20+ delay

Good day folks, hope all is well. I pre ordered my samsung S20+ through telkom, today I called them to find out when I can expect delivery of my device and the lady I spoke to told me that they are awaiting shipment of the S20+ devices and that none of their branches has any stock, I can only expect delivery by end march or begin april... This is worrying because they advertise we will be able to redeem free galaxy buds+ and get the samsung care at a discounted price but its a bit hard to do that without the actual phone... I just want to know if anyone else has heard this before and if its actually true, the main reason I pre orderd was to get the free buds plus..
 
You still have today to preorder with some other network.

I did my pre order through Telkom and by the 4rh March was called to come pick up my phone. When I got there the teller told me I'm lucky to even get it because her colleagues wanted to give it to a walk in client. Apparently I was the only client who actually pre ordered. Their initial stock sold out the same day on the 6th March.

So the awaiting shipment statement is accurate. Did you pre order online or in store?

Online, I went to my local telkom to pre order in store but was told that pre orders could only be done online.
