Samsung S2333SW...help?

Handz I kinda know what you are talking about - Were you playing on small CRT? I have seen that playing CS especially on the smaller CRt's it generally seems for some reason to run really smoothly but soon as you go to a bigger screen it seems to get choppy in a sense. I think it is more a game issue than a hardware one.

Oh the smaller crt's run at 1920x1080 do they?
Interesting..

You have MOST probably gone from 1280x1024 to 1920x1080, unf. your graphics card is struggling, so get a new one or turn the res down to 1440x900.

What size was your crt?

Dude can i ask you something if his pc is telling him he is running at 100fps how is his vga card struggling? am i missing something here or did he say his game is running at 100fps but its choppy. You do not need to be cocky and ask if monitors run at that res u just need to read the posts and you will find his computer is running cs at 100FPS so it is not a vga card problem.

Now why would his vga be struggling if he indeed is still getting 100fps?

I would also imagine he has not set the resolution on CS and the monitor is not running at native res which is causing the problem, you should look into getting CS running at the native monitor res.

I don't remember saying anything about a CRT running at 1920x1080, do you? :confused:

No, so what I am trying to say is that CS will run smoother on a small crt due to the LOW res. CS on high res from what I have seen never runs as smoothly no matter what card you have.
 
Maybe try Fraps or another kinda of framerate counter maybe the CS is buggy.
Try lowering the res completely and see if theres a change at different resolutions.
 
My bad, ..let's see if him changing from analog to digital makes any diff. since he says he's tried changing the res...
