Samsung S4 i9500 Lollipop released

Hi all,

Just noticed on sammobiles.com that Lollipop has been released for the Samsung S4 i9500 :D :D Hopefully it will make it's way to SA soon. Only available officially in Russia and India so far :(

If you read the Samsung S4 thread you'd see that it's been out for a while now.

I've been running Prism Barebone (Based on XXUHOA7) for almost 2 weeks.

might be longer than 2 months ...samsung sa are too slow

Battery life is amazing. 50% more than KitKat. Anyone on this for this. :)

Agree. Battery life MUCH improved. Hardly using my spare battery these days....

So glad I flashed with Lollipop - immediately made me get over S6 FOMO (even though I have skipped S6 by choice)

I updated my S4 to v5.0.1 over the weekend, but then I bought it secondhand & assume it's from the M/East (it installs an app called Islamona)

We will get lollipop when they release android M officially :-(

This is really ridiculous how long the SA operators take to certify/test/dodge-n-dive new OS releases. With Blackberry I used to be about 4 to 6 releases out front loading overseas operator ROMS...and mostly with little or NO adverse effects.

Any idea when we will see Lollipop for S4, S5 mini and S6...yes i have 3 Galaxies in my house...

If ever, you can expect 6-8 months after Vodafone UK gets them.
