I just updated my S5 to marshmallow using a rom for a non branded UK version.

Good luck!
Vodacom are not very quick on releasing updates which is why I decided to bypass them.

The benefit of a DIY upgrade is that you get a non-branded version without Vodacoms pre-loaded crap on it.
Just the stock OS as customized by Samsung.

Yeah!! Finally Marshmallow on the S6 on Vodacom after a HelloPeter complaint.
After the update I was phoned by a Vodacom technician saying that the S6 won't be getting Marshmallow, something they supposedly confirmed with Samsung
