Hi Everyone

Just to let you know, i checked on the update this morning, and looks like Marshmallow has been released. I have installed and up and running no problem, nice and smooth, and quick. Enjoy.

Any noticeable difference to previous software version?

Got my update last night :D

Any noticeable difference to previous software version?

Look and feel is a little different and everything seems a lot smoother to me.

So far I'm happy.

Major noticeable difference is performance, much smoother. Im with MTN, so not sure if on the other carriers. But really like it a lot. Added security, if you use fingerprint, you can set it that if the phone is standing longer than 24 hours, or is restarted, it will require a a typed in password. Once that is done, then the fingerprints are used again. So double security in essence. Menus have changed a bit. but i do like.

Just got the update too. on Telkom mobile here.
Less than a day so not sure of extra battery life - 1.4GB download

its smoother, though a little bit slower on transitions.

Any major things i need to look out for?
Optimized ways of doing things?
Any recommended user experience tips?

Got this about a month and a half ago while in the US. Purchased a t-mobile sim for use there in my S6 Edge+, then I reset the phone. Update downloaded shortly after.

Really like it, actually love my Samsung phone again cause of the update. No major differences in my life, just a lot smoother to me and battery life seems better.

That's strange. My friend is also on Vodacom and he received the OUTA.

Refresh your update now in your software update

Still on 5.1.1

Just refreshed the update and stills says I am on the latest version.

My location in SA should not have anything to do with this? I am in Worcester in the Western Cape
