Hi

Has anyone had any luck with a screen protector.

I have bought 3 now and all of them lift on the corners. First one I bought from bidorbuy. Put it down to being a cheap chinese protector. Second from Vodacom ended up cracking the screen trying to get it to stick and now a third from takealot.

If yours has worked what brand is it?

Thank you

Hi.

Recently got mine. Bodyglove (Glass Type).
Works fine.

Only issue is sometimes squeeking noise where the screen protector and buttons meet, especially when buttons pushed.

I decided against getting one. I feel they don't help much, and you end up spending more money on replacing the screen protectors every time they crack. At R500 each for the S7 Edge, they aren't cheap. They also are not strong, and give you a false sense of security. When the protector cracks, you probably think you saved your screen from being cracked. But I think these items are weak and crack easily, and made this way so that you replace them often.

The S7 Edge has Gorilla Glass 4, which is way stronger than even the best screen protector. The only real advantage of a screen protector vs Gorilla Glass 4 is to protect your phone from major scratches.

I've registered my phone for ADH Premium, and if/when it cracks, will get the screen replaced for free, and then I'll consider buying a screen protector.

You only get one free screen replacement with the ADH for s7 edge. I've already used mine. Friend of mine knocked my phone out of my hand while jumping on me to give me a hug.

I'm looking for something to stop small surface scratches. Should probably just look at a film type protector.
