Samsung should just hold a few free gangnam style parties for foxconn employees with cheap booze to bring production down more and they will achieve their objective at a fraction of the cost of litigation.

What you don't seem to realise is that the Samsung Group is made up of several companies, including Samsung Electronics. So as single companies, they're all smaller than Apple, but they all form part of the same umbrella corporation. However, in this battle Samsung always seems to refer to the subsidiary Samsung Electronics.

As an example, in 2012 the Samsung Group have revenue of US$ 247.5 billion, in the same time Apple only achieved US$ 156.508 billion.

I'm not an economist and, personally, I have found it hard to believe that Apple is so highly valued, especially since they pale in the face of what companies like Samsung, LG, Sony, and quite a few others offer.

It does help that their profit margins are massive.
