Samsung Verses Samsung...

True hey~

When I saw the dynamic ratio.. I was like.. mm.. that monitor must be GOOD, since the DR is really high..

That being said.. if it makes no BIG difference, why was it made?

Answer: profit!

The real-world difference between LED and CCFL-lit LCD screens is minimal at best.
The marketing people put their spin on everything, why? = Product diversification = move more product. (phase out old tech, manufacturer newer tech for less, charge similar price)
LED does consume less W, that's the biggest benefit I'd say, oh and the bezels are really thin, ..if you enjoy watching ur screen side-on! ;)

:D

I would say. Rather go for a 27" screen. Going from 23" to 24" is not worth it. I think 27" is amazing or go eyefinity/Nvidia surround.

Yeah..but isn't a a 27" HUGE?

Like I thought my 23" was big.. so don't really want one that takes up like the WHOLE desk.. :(

Yeah.. I actually was only thinking about getting a LCD.. but then.. I was like.. might as well just a LED.. Since I'm getting a new monitor, might as well get a better one so I don't have to upgrade to a new one..

But I guess that was.. mm. somewhat a wrong thought lol

HDMI offers zero benefit over DVI besides sound - and on these cheap samsung monitors they don't have speakers or audio out..

But the thing is.. I don't even have DVI.. only VGA or D-sub..

That's also why I want to upgrade..

FYI Take2 says the P2770H has gone EOL, ..I had a rather unpleasant experience with two of them and am busy getting a refund for both.
