I was just wondering if it was possible to ask developers of BF2 to include our own defense force on BF2. It will be create to play for the local army.

By the way I believe that it is time we start to promote our own country and culture.

There was a Bush war mod years ago in development for BF:1942 and BF:Vietnam. The only way to get one for BF:2 will be to develop one self.

What do you want to promote BlackGuy?
A game where you get to participate in the covert surveillance on the crisis in Zimbabwe?

Sorry.

I suppose that you can go far back in history and make maps and militia based on our efforts in WWI and WWII, but then again ... almost every other country in the world should also be included.

Perhaps if we took a game engine and developed the content ourselves we could pull it off. Otherwise, you're kinda stuck with the south African Style commentary in that sandbox game ... what was that thing called again?

I still have the mod for BF:V that had all the SANDF vehicles/choppers/jets ...

The friendlies all had Afrikaans names and the enemies were Cuban. :D

Does the mod work on BF2? If it does, I would appreciate if you could give me the link. I am still looking for ARMA2 though, they say it has the Bush Wars mod.

Surely that Bush War looks great for sniping! They certainly should make one for BF2, we play the game for god's sake!

Guys I am not really familiar with how a mod will improve or change the game though I strongly believe it could be a good marketing strategy for some businesses. If you are good with programming (I know a little C++ myself, lol) you could develop a bush war mod for BF2, since we are mainly playing Bf2 locally at present, and approach companies about advertising their products on the maps, etc. You could make some extra cash with that.
