Sansui lifepad

Forgot to mention. It comes with ICS and a most apps you would need (office readers, email, media players etc..) pre-installed

Also has a .3 megapixel front camera. Sound is not the loudest, but comes with earphones and has a standard earphone jack.

Just bought if for the GF. I have played some movies on it, installed a few ebook readers etc.. It runs admirably. it only has 4gig built in but can be expanded by 32gig sd card. The screen viewing angles a bit limited with the best quality coming from staring straight at the screen. Battery life is not all that hot with about 2-3 hours constant video. It charges very fast though. Wifi is very good and picks up well all over the house.

All in all, it is awesome for the price you get it for.

Hi HBee,

I'm very tempted. Help a guy out, tell me, did Google Play (Android store) work out of the box? Any niggles/issues? Any 2nd thoughts since you bought it?

Ta.

I bought a 9.7 Sansui from Incredible, on the box it claims to run at 1,2 Ghz -- it only runs at 1,008.

After a lot of research, no input from the "support" office, I determined that the ETAB 902VP is close related to the CnM TouchPad 9.7 SC. I downloaded the manual and the ROMs from there. The CnM does not have internal 3G, but for the rest and the build fingerprint its the same, the property for manufacturer is (intentionally?) left empty.

There are two other apparent cousins, Verso and Pendo(?). The latter is punted in Australia and claimed to be a local Australian product. Many of these tablets can be obtained in kit form and then assembled, so its not that difficult to bring on the market and call it "Mampoer 97%" if you want to.

I am looking at, over the next few months, attempt to build a CM10.1 ROM for it.

Interesting thanks for sharing.

Just got the Sansui 7" Lifepad for my daughter (15) from Incredible. Hope she'll be ok with it.

There's plenty of these 1K tablets on the market and you cannot expect them to be anything like the top of the range tablets. Just hope that the Sansui is among the better tablets of these lower end products

Just a heads up if you're planning on getting this - don't.

A friend got rid of this and opted to get the Alcatel for his son instead.

The touchscreen sensitivity is terrible.

Is this the one that needs a stylus? Was the screen still bad?

Wow this thread is over 4 years old. You may fine a LCD, but it would probably cost 3 times what a new and substantially more powerful replacement would cost.
