Sansui windows 8" WIB802

How would i go about bench-marking this? I actually created the vhdx as mentioned previously.Im not sure if that will heavily impact the performance as well

Just copy a file from your internal storage, to your sd card. A movie or something should do.

Does anyone have an idea how long the update from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 took? I have to use a USB Flash Drive to do the update so obviously can't keep the tablet plugged in charging at the same time.

I have already done all windows updates and have just finished creating a USB recovery drive.

The tablet is on 55% battery but don't want it to die half way through the update.

Took about 2 hours for me. Why not keep the ISO on a memory card and install from there. All while charging the tablet?

If I had a memory card then I would but the only Micro SD card I have is a 4GB one and that won't work. I have a 32GB but not with me at the moment.

Fully charge, turn down brightness and hold thumbs?

If the install fails you rarely brick your tablet. It should revert back to Win8. Mine did on my 1st attempt.

Yeah not too worried about that as I know it will revert back but just don't want it to die when its 99.999999% completed (that will be my luck :D ).

Didi you have other software etc already installed before you did the update? I have absolutely nothing yet. Might just try and see how it goes.

VLC only I think. Just do it!
Win10 is so much better touch screen wise.

Yeah without a doubt I am going to do it. I have turned the tablet off for now and will let it charge (thought it might charge quicker) and then will do it.

Update all done and everything seems to be working.

Will check for Windows 10 updates soon but just want to know, when I go to Disk Cleanup, is it safe to delete the "Previous Windows installation(s)" aa it is 9.54GB in size?

I already have a previous USB Restore I created before the Windows 10 update.

I deleted mine. No issues as yet.

Has anyone been able to successfully connect their tablet to an external display?

I tried connecting mine to my TV but the TV doesn't receive any signal from the tablet (no signal, it doesn't say the cable is unplugged). The tablet recognises that the TV is connect (Picks up the brand and supported resolutions in display settings). I tried extending, duplicating, output to second screen only, changing resolutions but nothing seems to work. I am using a micro HDMI -> HDMI adapter but I don't think this would be an issue? There's nothing wrong with the cable as I use it with my laptop.

Anyone?

Yeah I see the files where kept for if you wanted to revert back to the previous version of Windows from Windows 10.

Busy deleting them now and then will check for other updates.

For anyone interested, after the full installation and everything the battery is still about one third so not too bad.

I've upgraded to Win 10 successfully. Have 4gig free on my c: Just a question, do any of you have a problem that when you press the power on button, the screen displays a very light white background, then I need to press it again to turn it off and then press again for it to display correctly?

Thats weird, after I deleted the previous version in disk cleanup and restarted, it only shows 4.31GB free on the C drive. The old version was 9GB. Anyone else have this problem?
