The screen is just to small for my liking. For a android Tablet its fine, but for a full blown Windows operating system its to small, the touch is really not good. Maybe if i use a stylus. But a Stylus is almost more expensive than the tablet :p

Bluetooth mouse works nicely, yeah the touch is horrible.

It was an Astrum bluetooth mouse on Takealot at the beginning of this year, might still be there :(

Touch isn't that bad, the screen protector messes it up, I took mine off.

A stylus doesn't help, I've tried. Writing failed lol.

I got it installed but using the touchscreen to type is insane. I wish they would bring the Flow keyboard over to the desktop.

Going to be trying Angular soon so I'll put it to the test.
 
Driver installation

Turns out that the touchscreen driver installation process was slightly more involved than simply telling Windows to use a certain INF file. There's also "Touchsetting.gt" and "GT912_1040.BIN" that needs to be copied into your windows\INF folder.

I also don't think installing the drivers via the Device Manager works as it should, so you have to use something like devcon.exe.

I've managed to bundle all the original files and script this process, in case anyone still needs these drivers. Tested it on a squeaky clean Windows 10 Anniversary Edition install and it works on my machineTM. Obviously you'll still need a OTG/Bluetooth mouse/keyboard to be able to log in and run this batch file (install.bat).

The screen protector screws the touch up!?! Never thought of that.
Removing mine asap, touch was the only gripe I had with the tablet.

Tbh, I keep my tablet in the case and there isn't a scratch on it.

Very important do not keep the keyboard in the case with it, caused scuff marks on the screen when I had the screen protector on.
 
Can someone please give me instructions on how to delete the recovery partition on the tablet I am sort of a tech newbie
