The problem with SA soccer is most play for the wrong reasons.There's too much love and less skill.Loving a sport to death and being good in it are two different things.Too much emotion is never a good thing,there should be a will to win no matter what,not solely a will to play the sport you love.

Success at Soccer like any other team sport is largely determined by team organisation and not so much by individual talent.
Most European nations (with the exception of Spain, Italy and Portugal ) have very little individual talent. But what they do have is proper team organisation and tactical awareness. Most African teams tend to rely on the abundant individual talents.
Gus Hiddink(currently coaching Russia) did wonders with Korea and Australia. Such teams sucked balls before he took over...
We need someone like that Gus Hindink and not Santana or Pareira. Someone with a track record of working with minows like us.
Pareira by the way is out of a job in his home country of Brazil. He recently got fired from Flumenense. We don't want any more Brazillian loosers, please...

It's the useless players SA has which is the problem. Where have you ever seen so many useless people playing in one team? Get more coloureds to play, they seem to be doing ALLOT better than the people we have in that suqad currently. I know nothing about soccer but I have seen some coloured laaitjies play and OMW are they good.
SA has this mental thing that Soccer is for black people only. The problem is, just like any other sport you need talent to play there. Which 98% of the Bafana Bafana and all the PSL squads don't have.
A Pot maker is only as good as the clay he has to work with.
Sack the whole bloody soccer base we have on all levels. Start from scratch, get players wh actually can play ball instead of the useless crap we have now

Cape Town teams being dominated by coloureds should be dominating the local league. I don't see that happening, so I assume your argument is a big fail. In fact it became a fail the moment you put race into it. Soccer is played by all races in the country not just blacks... grow up!

If all those players in the Bafana Bafana squad is the best we have, I suggest we scrap all funding that goes into soccer and rather use it for Rugby development instead.
THEY SUCK DONKEY BALLS. And yes I firmly believe coloureds to be way better at soccer than anybody else being fielded in the current PSL.

But seriously. WTF is it with 95% of ALL sa players on all levels can't play soccer for shyt. But they do get paid for it. I mean WTF? The only team actually worth mentioning in any soccer circles here in SA is SS united. The rest all suck big time.

In the current squad there is Mathew Booth, Rowen Fernandez (White), Steven Pienaar, Elrio van Heerden, Bernard Parker, Moeneep Josephs, Franklin Cale (Coloured)
What gave the idea that only blacks play soccer?

Don't tell me about people warming the bench. You are sounding like these rugby coaches now saying they have players of colour in their squads. They are in the 30 man training group Morgoth

well its more a case of our players having the skills but not the structure at the moment we need to implement the same style throughout all of our clubs

If they are good enough to be selecteed for the squad, they are good enough to be in the starting line up. The fact they were not playing when you watched was coincidental. If you watched more often you would have known that they aren't bench warmers.
My opinion is the same for soccer as it is for rugby - let the best person play in the team and leave colour out of it.
