SAOL.com no Seacom failover with downtime

Anyone know what's up with Seacom and SAOL not having a failover with the current Seacom downtime? Last year when Seacom went down they ran thru Sat, now nothing. I mean, their uncapped 4 mb connection is cheap, but I'm still paying for a for a damn service that I'm not getting. Worst part is they never even bother to notify one that something is wrong, I've gotta bloody phone them everytime their connection goes balls up to find out what's wrong. Seriously, at this stage I'd be content with a crap slow failover than nothing.

If you rely on your ADSL conneciton, you should know this by now already, esp. as a MyBB forumite (since 2008 nogal):
You need to buy a backup ADSL account with an ISP that is not on SEACOM, or has reliable failover (like MWEB).

Get a 1GB account from Telkom or WebAfrica (SAT3 bandwidth) to back you up when SEACOM goes down, or SAOL/Internet Solutions/etc are having problems.

One more reason to love MWEB. They have failover, no extra cost to me.
