SAOL Signup Delays

Just to let you know that there may be a slight delay in getting your SAOL accounts activated - we have had a HUGE influx of new clients and our admin team are working through the accounts as quickly as possible.

If you have signed up and need to get activated immediately, please call us on 0861007265 so we can bump you up the queue.

I hate to go and flame your thread but I signed up for an SAOL account about 7 days ago and when no-one contacted me with new info and the account wasn't created I was shocked and disgusted. I have decided to go with Imagine purely because of bad service from SAOL.

To top it all off no-one apologised when I called and your call center is only open until 22:00.

Surely you would have foreseen a huge influx of new accounts and had some temp staff or kept your "after hours" time open all night.

Quite frankly I'm shocked and could carry on for a lot longer but hey, here it is.
 
I faxed in my proof of payment, called up SAOL to confirm, and they activated my account while I was on the phone. No complaints here.
 
Yeah I singed up on their website and got my login details the same day.
Now if they would only send my email account setup details:rolleyes:
 
I have had good response times from all queries i have had with SAOL

That would mean it would cost the dude money... I mean really!
 
Yeah, I had to sign up at 2:00 AM this morning. Pedantic did it immediatly in good faith after I PM'd him and there You go. What service WOW! Keep going SAOL. Unfortunate this will be tempory until TELKOM remove this 1024 cr@p. 30 days? I believe

Clearly you didn't read my post.

I had already signed up and wanted to call for my details but their callcenter closes at 22:00 at night. I tried calling this morning but they only open at 09:00.

If I'm paying for a service I want service

If this is how the rest of my experience will be with you I will be a pleasure doing business with such a fast and effienct team..and also a willingness to help
 
Thanx SAOL, you're the only people that offer me 5gigs for the same price I was getting 20 for. I'm not being sarcastic. All the other ISPs were offering 4GB.

I think that you should check what time zone you are in as we open at 08:00 and close at 21:00
I checked your account and you put 2783........ infront of your cell number that is why you didnt get an SMS. We are in the same country I think ?? You don't need the whole 27 thing.

If we are in South Africa and your are a South African company why the use of a .com address? That is the reason I put an international format phone number. Besides, if I send an SMS from my phone to a phone number starting with 2783 it gets through to the person that t's intended for. I think that is just a crap excuse for having created my account.

When I called after 09:00 this morning I was told that my account hadn't even been created. I wouldn't post these things if it wasn't my true experience.

And the message on your answering service is what told me you close at 22:00.
 
Hmm, OK.

Another thing is when I emailed them to cancel my access request no-one even called or emailed to ask why. That's not a very professional way of running a business.

Sorry for the problems, your account just slipped by my admin staff, As it goes because of your account I implemented a new step in our procedures to avoid this problem again.

Your account is now activated and will only be billed from the end of this month should you wish to keep it.
