SARS 2010 returns turn-around time.

I'm checking last year
2009/08/03, Mon - Filed
2009/08/05, Wed - Request for supporting documentation received, and completed
2009/08/11, Tues - Return finalized
2009/08/21, Fri - Refund received

So lets see how this year pans out, its currently on the same time-line.
 
Oh man - genius that I am - I uploaded the wrong set of docs for review, I uploaded my master docs which I used for the calculation - they include items in red whichI didn't claim for, but are still in the list of expenses... Really hope SARS notices they're not included in the totals.

Hope so :) Its things like the transfer duty, legal costs, etc. :) e.g. The total is only R50,000 odd, but the items making up the total include the transfer duty of R73,000... so it should be easy to spot :p
 
filed monday afternoon, got money wednesday morning..

went to sars today. will see when the money is in the account if any...
 
Week one :( Hopefully I hear something this week - its like being 6 and waiting for xmas.
 
Submitted mine on Friday and they requested supporting documents the next day, submitted the documents online yesterday (sunday). Now its wait and see time.

It has officially taken longer than last year to finalize :(

Anyone who submitted supporting documents gotten there's back yet?
 
Submitted Thursday 08 July 14:00. IT34 notification received at 09:00 on 10 July as well as statement of account. Money deposited midnight Saturday 10 July. That means mine was completed in 58 hours.

Maybe I shouldn't have claimed a small car back :(
 
Logged on to internet banking today, and the deposit for the exact amount I claimed was there :) So it was quicker than last year, still haven't gotten my final return from SARS though.

Have you received any payment confirmation from SARS yet? Such as sms, email notice, or anything on your e-filing profile?

Reason I'm asking is because it seems like the only way you know you have been paid is by looking at your bank balance? You'll probably get something from SARS tomorrow. It took a day between my payment and notice from SARS.
