SARS E-Filing 2015

Type of plan means nothing as there is a set refund fee per main member, first dependent and all other dependents thereafter. Hence: number of dependents is where the money is at..... I am on 3 with a 4th joining on the 30th of this month when she decides to vacate mommy (figures include me as main member)..

Interesting. Thought it was a percentage on what you contribute. So a guy with a top end medical aid scheme paying for him and his wife as well, will get the same back as I did? Doesn't seem fair.

Korrekt! It's weighted so the lower earners get more bang for their buck back

It used to be a percentage but that changed in 2013 I think.

Submitted my docs via e-filing. If all goes well, I should get back about R4.5k. Not sure how long it'll take before I know, though. Previously, if I submitted at a SARS office it would take about 3 days for the money to be in my account. Anyone know the time frame on doing it electronically?

If you aren't asked for supporting documents, no longer than 48hrs till you get the money.

It means that your payment has been processed, and the money will probably reflect in your account by tomorrow morning. If it's not IN your account already...

why would Statement of Account Balance show R 0.00 , when last night it showed a refund value, and on the ITA34 it also shows the refund value still

I submitted my documents (medical aid certificate) at around 1am. Received notification that audit is complete at around 4pm.

Refuse removal with also be a deductible, just like my levies.

Well, you cant have both...

Its either 4210 for profit or 4211 for loss.
