I must be doing something wrong, I'm getting a huge negative number (fark, what does that mean again, I always confuse myself) - I can see a really long phone call in my future![]()

I am trying to calculate the portion of the total rebate that comes from the medical aid. There is a calculation on some website that I am following. My question is regarding the "out of pocket" medical aid expenses as this is part of the calculation. Where would one find this amount?
My MA tax certificate shows "claims not covered by the scheme". So I'm guessing this would be the value to use. However I cannot recall spending this much out of pocket for medical reasons.
Confused...
Well then I'm really sure something is wrongPretty sure I've filled in everything correct as their form agrees with me regarding profit/loss but holy moly, this refund number, she too big

SELECTED FOR VERIFICATION: Y or N?
I'm going to hold off filing it until I can find time to sit on the phone with someone at SARS. It is the first year I got this additional income/expense so I may very well have done something silly
Submitted but got some silly message:
Please note that your return cannot be processed immediately due to an outstanding Tax Directive. Therefore, manual intervention is required. SARS will advise you as soon as your return has been assessed. LUMP SUM DECLARED BUT DIRECTIVE OUTSTANDING
Two silly amounts received from an employer from 2005, dam I'll need to wait for them to come back to me.
I got my payment in my account early this morning!
When did you submit? I submitted yesterday around 8AM and haven't received payment yet....but I know it hasn't even been 36 hours...![]()
