SARS E-Filing 2015

You can submit a notice of objection. They did the same to me last year and I filled the NOO explaining why they are wrong and submitted it with the same supported documents. After 2 months, they did the third assessment identically to the first one.

Good to hear thanks, yeah I submitted an NOO with supporting docs. I wanted to type in there that they need to stop playing silly buggers with my stress, but felt it better to keep such comments for the follow up objection. :P

Norway just fscked me over as well charging me R5k for a TV license. I'm still coming to terms wit the R40k I paid to redo my drivers license here too.

My wife had this issue. She first changed her address details to the address that she'd had when SARS first registered her account, and then clicked on the option to continue despite SARS' system alert that the details didn't match what they had on their system. There's some button there, apparently.

I wouldn't hold out hope for SARS to phone you back - just phone them. It's a simple registration issue.

Fark. Also getting audited. Means I need to digitise my bloody travel logbook...

Part of my return is going to hopefully subsidise my trip to CT next month :)

Leftover cash will probably be shoved into my car repayments

Thanks SARS , was a fun filled weekend!

Changed jobs last year - still waiting for my previous employer to issue IRP5s...

Also waiting for my IRP5 from previous employer and don't see any IRP5 data from them on my E-Filing account.

Glad I'm not the only one - was really hoping to do my return this past weekend :(
