SARS E-Filing 2015

Every time I try to register I get an error saying the information I've submitted does not match the information SARS have on record.

Does this mean I have to go into SARS? :(

No just call the IVR line to reset and resend you your password.

It means you're entering the incorrect information.

It needs to be exactly the same way they have it on their side. Did you receive and IRP5 form from HR? If so, make sure you use that info.

Yeah I did. Took a look at it now. The postal code on the IRP5 is incorrect. They have Paarl's postal code :/ Used the one on the IRP5 and I was able to register.

So how long does this auditing crap usually take? I remember last year when they requested supporting documents, I went to the SARS office in Edenvale, saw someone within 20mins, got everything scanned, and had my money within 3 days. Still waiting for any sort of communication since my submission last Wednesday.
 
So a friend of mine has been paying some of her medical expenses, where on the form does she add those expenses and does she have to attach the receipts somewhere or just wait for SARS to ask for them?
 
I'm assuming a gap policy can also be submitted along with the medical aid? Just don't have a tax certificate for it.

She should keep copies of them and will only need to submit to SARS if she is selected for verification.
 
I submitted on the 1st at about 9am, got selected for verification and uploaded documents immediately! Still have had zero feedback. grrrr want my refund!
 
Submitted on 03 July and immediately said "Selected for an Audi or Verification"

Is there a trigger Refund Amount where they want Supporting Documents or is it random?

Join the club, I wasn't even selected for verification but still waiting
 
I've had to wait up to 20 days before for verification to be complete.
