Wtf Fanie. Everybody here has been bitching and moaning for days, so this is already that thread.
Start one with a poll and a detailed plan of action to bluster inconsequentially against Sars and orange filters

You're seriously going to bring that up in a tax thread? You really are unoriginal, aren't you, lol.

Ok so a friend of mine submitted on Monday only to hear on Tuesday that the company submitted the the IRP5 wrong to SARS.

She immediately requested a correction on her efile profile and proceeded to wait for her new IRP5.

She informed me now that her money has been paid into her account.

1: How can they finalize even though she requested for a correction.

2: What must she do now seeing as she still has not submitted the correct IRP5 and the refund she got was 10x less than what she was suppose to get.

Thanks

I would say she should phone the Sars helpline and ask them

Clearly she did not click on the "hold back payment" option while lodging her dispute.

She will get the rest of her money later that's due to her when the correction done.

Haha I'm the one being butthurt? LOL
You're the one who picks pointless fights on the internet in an attempt to score points with your buddies, and you lack the ability to respond to anything other than with rhetorical questions, so ... yes.

Anyone else have feelings of nausea when you look at your total tax paid in the year, and then consider that didn't even include fuel taxes, vat, import duties, excise, property taxes?

Hang on... I have buddies?

Guys, 3PM, bring and braai at my spot. We could all sit around a fire, sing folk songs and laugh about Fox that is sans refund.

Submitted Sunday, was requested verification on Monday. Verification finalised the Tue, and am still waiting for a refund this waiting is insane!

Oh right, so you're just a bitter troll? If that was your attempt to save face for launching a personal attack in a tax thread, it's not too successful is it?

Wow! Last night was great, Sars and lotto

Hope we don't read about you in Scope magazine....."Man blows winnings in 2 years"

Theres a difference between Dispute and Request for Correction. When selecting request for correction they add a new IRP5 onto your profile (same as the original one) that you need complete with the correct details.

She requested the correction and was issued with a new one but they still paid her out which is strange.

Regarding calling the helpline, I tried it earlier this week and was number 626 and when eventually reached a consultant she told me she has no idea why my statement of account shows R0...

Edit: If I understand correctly she can still do the correction or does she need to wait until next year?

I try to avoid looking at that completely especially when taking into account the levels of corruption reported on daily.
