I understand that. Was just wondering if there are other valid reasons. It's like saying up yours to SARS. Do you really need another reason?
Could it be that interest on funds owed will be billed from when you submit your return? Meaning the later you submit, the less interest will be paid if you don't settle immediately.I understand that. Was just wondering if there are other valid reasons.
I always get something back instead of having to pay in, so it doesn't bother me.
So, dooo i click the the button , lol

Interest. If it's a large amount, leave the money in your bond if you have one, and earn interest on it.I meant is there a technical / financial / legal reason to do it like that?

Thanks for this. The form says I am being auto assessed but nothing in efiling yet. Guess I have to wait also for the notification. You can confirm here if you have been auto-assessed for 2024, mine was also showing 15th July, but seems I have been auto-assessed, awaiting communication from SARS.

Maybe one to many "Gift" references on your bank statementsI got this message, but I do not have any other incomes, just a normal single income earner. I'll wait for the 15th to see what happens.

If you changed jobs and have more than 1 IRP5, then you most likely won't be auto-assessed.I got this message, but I do not have any other incomes, just a normal single income earner. I'll wait for the 15th to see what happens.
