Trying to get answers out of Liberty as to why they think SARS isn't happy with the tax documents they sent is like pulling teeth I still can't calculate my tax return, never mind submit it.

I'm in the same boat. Liberty comes to mind.

Under the Form Wizard on eFiling, I only have the Standard questions. How do I get access the Comprehensive questions. Comprehensive questions were available during last years returns.

It depends on what you answer. Some options are available only if you select Y to questions in standard questions screen.

Aah. Case assigned. And verification finalised with no changes.
Significant, as I had to repay a previous employer a retention bonus (tax included), and claimed the tax portion back.
But, with all suppoting docs, no issues.

Nope, employer was desperate to keep employees (high turnover). Me and many others decided F this, the bonis was not worth the toxic culture. And I am very happy about the move. Will never accept a retention bonis again though, lesson learnt.

Did you log into your bank to do the final step ? the SARS payment is just an instruction to the bank where and how much to pay you still need to complete it. website anyway, imagine the app is the same.
