Hopefully someone can help me here. My scenario is that I have my business on efiling as well as my self. Where im getting confused is that when I click on USER (link at the top left) all I can see is my personal details. Great.

When I click on Organisation I have my Business AND myself... If you use eFiling for both your business and yourself please could you check this for me. Click on Organisations and then check the Tax Payer: drop down box in the middle of the screen. Do you also see both your business and yourself?

Also, when I click on Returns and change the Tax Payer: drop down box between my business and myself, nothing changes on the form below. Ie, User Details are Identical as well as Company Details.

Cheers for any help in advance.

I'm not sure if this helps. I am registered as a tax practitioner and I have multiple entities on my profile. Not sure if the interface's are the same. With ours, to register a new entity you click on organisations and then register new. After you register, and click continue, a page opens organisation tax types.

there you fill in the reference numbers for all the taxes that the entity you've just registered is registered for.

Then on the right side there is a drop down menu listing all the taxpayers on your profile.

I never click on user. I dont know what its for.

When you log in, just select the entity you want to work with from the drop-down.

I dont know if this is what you were wondering about?

That is kind of what Im doing/did do. Im just a little uneasy with the details on the page. Ill go see SARS on tuesday when the eFiling consultant is in. Thanks for the reply Minty.

I efile for all my family members as well as a family trust. All the individual ones for tax year 2013 have gone through and have been assessed. But the trust return is giving me a problem, even though I have used it for several years successfully. The problem is that it will not "save" my data. I got as far as completing all the input, then went to save it. A few hours later I was ready to efile it, but when I opened the IT12TR, it presented me with the original form, with nothing of the data I had put in!!!! It saved a pdf file on my own computer, but that's all. I am using the latest version of Adobe Flashplayer, and I am on Windows 8 with chrome. Help, I would like to file my return soonest! I emailed support @ Sarsefiling but no response.

I spoke to SARS yesterday, the lady said that my above setup is normal and not to worry. Time to do 3 years worth of returns. Sigh, there goes all my business's cash.

problem solved

Needed to disable Adobe reader as a chrome plug-in. Pity SARS can't explain this up-front when they are making changes to their forms input. Ah well, it was ever thus. Sigh... :):)
