SARS is coming after tax evaders

Had to sort out a return from 2006 the other day... Lady helping me said they have gone as far back as the 90's....
 
Easiest way to evade tax is to transact in cash as much as possible.

Sure, no type of legit large-financial transaction can be done in cash but the small ones add-up.

Had a bit of a laugh when she asked me what i was doing workwise in. 2006...i said i cant really remember... I said can YOU remember what you were doing 18 years ago.. She said she had just started at SARS... :laugh:
 
these idiots will never learn, they tried this in the UK to generate 500mn pounds and the net outflows exceeded like 10bn pounds yearly revenue. Cut your nose to spite your face, run by idiots

Unfortunately Kieswetter has a mandate now... Ramaphosa whipped his back, so now he wants to impress his boss and show him that he can bring many shiny trinkets by robbing the population of every cent.

They tried that stunt with me telling me I failed to submit returns for 1995 and 1999, I had all the documents from the 90's and when I presented them to SARS Paarl branch to file the returns again the manager in charge scrapped everything as they only go back to 2000 as this was when they transferred to a computerised system.

I am amazed that you have support documents going back 2006. Some accounting lady used to file my returns till 2007/08. She was quite old even then so I doubt if she is alive.

Bunch of idiots working in government. They did the same with me.
