I'm with Axxess and I use SASA to view my account balances. I've noted that the amounts used are different on sasa than those on the Axxess page. Sometimes up to 500mb. This happens even after a 24hr break with no usage. I've just had one of my accounts capped that sasa says still has about 300mb left on it. Any ideas as why they are different?

Depends on how many bytes make a kilobyte.

Axxess I think uses 1000 bytes, whereas SAIX (where SASA gets its data from) uses 1024 bytes - or vice versa. Can never remember.

They should be the same. I used to have an axxess account and the stats they displayed were always identical to what userstats.adsl.saix.net displayed (which is where SASA gets its info). The only difference is that axxess were always a little behind, sometimes by up to a week so their figures were almost always lower than the saix figures.

Maybe you should ask them to please explain... ;)

I had the same problem. 200 Meg in December. I sent an email to Abuse but it was totally ignored so I cancelled with them. I had to organise additional usage with WA because of their incorrect stats. I sent a detailed summary and could prove that these ghost entries were not from me. There were cases of overlapping usage. It is not a SAIX issue as these items don't appear on SASA, it is an Axxess issue.

It looks like this is only the situation on their 4GB account. The 3GB uses normal usage but the 4GB uses a 1000K Meg.

I'm on the saol 10gb package
on my stats it's showing bout 10.1 usage but on their site they've got me pegged for 10.7 already. (bought an extra gig just to tie me over)

Now i'm sorry but if an isp sells me a 10gb package an they decide to make it 10GBit that's unacceptable. It's tantamount to fraud.

I'm paying for a 10gbyte package. and all emails i've sent show a 10gb and not 10gBit.
