The fault on SAT-3 was caused by a break in the cable 180km from Goonhilly, at the landing station in Portugal
How far is the UK from Portugal?if I understand the above statement properly Goonhilly is 180km from the landing station in Portugal (Sesimbra)but isn't Goonhilly in the UK and and isn't it also a landing station for SMW3???

I have such terrible latency since this started, and still have terrible latency..... cannot wait till its sorted
