Some of the stories you hear from ex-Satanists are really scary.

Abortions on an altar is not something I want to witness. Or be part of. Ever.

Not much of a bible basher, but let me see if I get it right:

God tells Abraham to sacrifice his son and just before he is about to do it an angel puts a goat trapped in a tree of which Abraham can substitute for his son. The goat is still a sacrifice not so?


With regards to the child sacrifices

Exodus 13:2 - the Lord said "Consecrate to me every first-born that opens the womb among Israelites, both man and beast, for it belongs to me."

my apologies I was reading it wrong.

However sacrifices are still carried out in your religion just like all the other religions.

IMO people join into Satanism to be dark and different to the norm. It has absolutely nothing to do with the actual religion or the belief in Satanism. People then tend to go bat ***** crazy trying to out do the next guy to show how wacked and weird they can get. If Satanism became popular just like every other religion, all the nutters would need another "excuse" or following to explain their stupid and outrageous fetishes.

I know that is what the satanists say on their official literature, but I would not believe them based on the overwhelming proof of the opposite.

Actually, compared to the other the Abrahamic religions it's a relatively sophisticated philosophy.
 
Christianity celebrates human sacrifice, i don't think they should be pointing fingers.
