Hi guys, hoping you could assist with some info. I got an email from the guys at sawireless.co.za with the following pricing index. Does anybody know of this service or have the service? Any info will be welcome.

At the time of visiting the above website, it was plain text with a scrolling text "under construction" and one line of text saying :-

Coming Soon: Rivonia, Springs, Pretoria, Centurion, Glenvista, Malbarton

Now, I don't usually judge a book by it's cover, but this cover really smells fishy ! ;)

Oh yes, they also use mydyndns.org for thier DNS service. Kind of says it all really.

Without concluding anything about authenticity it is possible they are just waiting for 1st February when WiFi is sort of "deregulated".

Googling using the whois data might reveal more info.

I think that I'll seriously check this out. R75 is soooooo cheap. And using the free services (mydyndns.org) just means that they're saving money - which is a good thing in my mind.
But - then again - megawan dejavu.

I made one comment about sawireless.co.za based on this thread.
I have made no other comments anywhere about it and in fact completely forgot about this thread until I revisited it now.

I'm merely stating my observations, it's a free world !

I'm fully aware that the shiniest most fantastic web site in the world can hide a dodgy operation, but I'm also very aware of the power of marketing.

Im a bit confused. Does sawireless have a cap? If not how can they afford to sell their Bandwidth so cheap?
