SAWireless

How can anyone take SAWireless seriously?
The title of the website is "Business Template"
The spelling is terrible
Every link is just a mailto:
The website is down 50% of the time, and when someone asks why, they're accused of having poor eyesight.

IMHO, Until sawireless.co.za gets proper hosting somewhere (proper hosting, NOT on an ADSL Line), I dont think anyone should even think about it.

This is just silly. I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. No. Make that a 100 foot pole.

Anybody out there using SA Wireless? Is there any way for us to know if these guys actually exist and offer a real service? Reading this thread has been VERY scary. Like watching a playground fight... "Yo mama!" "No, YO mama!"

Yup, just read parts of the thread aswell.

Must say that this is not a good PR thread for SAWireless.

I especially don't like the tone of Mr SAWireless.

louisp, that is what scared me the most. The name calling and anger doesnt come across as very professional. Maybe its just me though...

SAWIRELESS: to be a new kid on the block you are really starting off with a attitude like TELKOM, the we dont really need customers attitude......rather take a page out of WEBINTACTS book and respond to the fourms queries. With proper answers. At the moment i'm hold the same pole as COMPL33T

Maybe they never existed as a company :( only a front end set up to pilfer some money from unsuspecting internet hungry citizens. Hmmm, sounds like Telkom yes, except Telkom PRETENDS to give you service.

SA Wireless hasnt replied to my emails yet. Oh well, guess ill be getting some other kind of connection...

I'm using them and till now havent had a problem, but hey, I said it before and were nearly hanged....

Well interesting enough, no landline? I hope these guys know that they, having adsl line, also pay for 1x landline. Oh well guess they dont "know" this LOL

If its possible could you help us out with some speed test results, bandwidth usage stats and maybe a ping or two?

I think that SAWireless could sure use the possitive publicity.

I posted it last night and strangly it is gone now. Will post it again.

Your line speed is approximately 389.7 Kbps or 47.8 kBytes/sec
( Where kb = kilobits and kB = kiloBytes )

Results:
Below is the data used to calculate your download speed:

Download time: 10.469 seconds
Size of file: 500 KiloBytes
Estimated line speed: 389.7 (kilobits/second)
Estimated line speed: 47.8 (kiloBytes/second)
Read the Download Test FAQ.

Thanks hlo1. Unfortunately SAWireless never came back to me. Either they do not cover my area i live in or they dont want my business. I have opted for a more professional service.

Thank you

anyone else

Can anyone else report back on the service of SAwireless, please? If it is okay I am definitely getting it.:D

Pleeze!!!!

I beg you guys! Take this little piece of advice!

Before you even contemplate paying these people a cent. Let them offer you a 2 or 3 day demo, at your own house.

If there are worth their salt, they have nothing to hide. I mean, if it works you'll have to keep it, so thats fine right?

Please test test test, try before you buy!!! A site survey when they test the signal strength tells you nothing about the QOS.

The best way to do this is to try, because these kids offer 512 for R300 after a R2000 install. They also have ads in the newspapers, so if you are trying to decide whether to go for ADSL (IS of course) or to get wireless please remember that ultimately you'll will get adsl so why waste the money now.

Just a thought, flame me now but I'm sure pupa agrees.
