I've sold quite a few unused things on FB Market/Gumtree, but it was always for cash (-+R1000), so pretty simple and relatively low risk.

I've got some stuff that I'd like to sell that will probably go into R4k+, so cash might be an issue.

What is a non-cash scam-proof way to sell for higher amounts? I've got accounts at FNB/Capitec. I'm also prepared to take a knock (less than R100) for an instant 100% guaranteed non cash method.

Thanks.

Thanks, I'm guessing my account will reflect an available balance (vs balance) of the amount of the sale?

In other words, doing an instant EFT from a phone in front of me can't be faked like a bogus cheque deposit (if I confirm the transaction at the bank - ignoring emails, etc)
