Scary Article - People Tortured During a Robbery!

We should form up a unit (organization) Which is community driven. PAGGAD had the right idea but lost the plot somewhere. We should start policing our Suburbs and remove all unwanted and uninvited guests and keep them out. Sector Policing is a huge success if driven correctly, but once an area becomes quiet the interest dies out. And opens up the door for attacks again. We need a commando type of private institution to DO something about this as government won't.

Unfortunately, our government won't allow this. Because of their 'rights'

Yep my thoughts too. You are more likely to be sued or thrown in jail yourself for trying to infringe on someone's rights. All these types of ideas are great in principle, but they just cant be implemented in a country where the rights of the "everyone else but you" are more important than your rights to freedom and safety.

They have a right to freedom of movement.

I have a right to protection for me and my family.

Guess which rights I hold higher than others? ;)

If they don't belong in a residential area they should be removed, ask nicely, then use force. We need to start cleaning our streets and we won't have this problem.

All good and well until you have the retarded ANCYL jumping up and down in your street :p

My dad's part of a neighbourhood watch thing that does exactly this... so far so good - although they had their green patrolling lights taken away from them.

So the couple who own a small business, told police the robbers were after their R2 million so SARS can get in on the act and add to their suffering.
Me thinks the robbers attacked the wrong house.

You don't get a say in this, the law/courts trump you.

Unless he can prove that he had any business in my street as an example, he will not get very far. Police are just as sick of these bastards as we are. I'm not saying kick Steven's ass because he wanted to visit Mary. I'm saying kick Steven's ass if he is walking around my street anytime with nothing but bad ideas in his head. There is no law against asking a person what he's doing in said street and where is he planing on going. Just asking them this will make them think twice of coming here again.

If he get's stroppy kick his ass. Good luck in him claiming he was assaulted for walking in my street if I have witnesses he doesn't :p

As they continued beating her husband, the wife managed to free her hands, and secretly put the iron on low.

She should've turned the iron up and used it on the guy's face. Yeah, that probably would've made them worse but they don't seem to have had guns. Makes me beyond sick though

Besides telling them about the bullets for husband, her and grand child.

So you are now condoning violence because I am in a public space and would tell you to go get fscked if you started getting nosey about my business?

We have a huge bergie problem where I live. When it is "bin-day" the streets are inundated. They started walking up my driveway to scratch in my bin next to my house. Told them to f-off as they are tresspassing. Should have heard the language. Problem is I don't want a brick through my window at 2 am. Best would be to route them out of there sleeping nests at night probably.... Unfortunately harassing people that are loitering is not allowed anymore. Maybe jumping out of a car with a balaclava on and a golfclub in hand may scare them off eventually. Gated Communities FTW...but alas also outlawed by the Gawwament.

I had a 2 hour stint tied up by these a-holes earlier this year. Not to the extent this family went through but still, those 2 hours pass VERY slowly when you're not sure if you're going to be dead the next minute throughout the whole ordeal. Sorry to the family. I hope they recover from this.

Oh, and to all the bunny-hugging do gooders who parade around this forum questioning why we thumbs-up every time one of these oxygen thieves bites the dust, this is why.

I cannot believe some people are now proposing pass laws once again, and promoting xenophobic violence on top of it. Ridiculous...

The criminal element and lack of policing is the reason for these proposals. What is YOUR proposal?

I used to be very anti-gun. After having my house broken into several times in the middle of the night and my family held at knife point, I now firmly believe that by not having a gun, you are risking the lives of your family.

Very sad news!!!

I was mugged this weekend, sustained a cut on my hand, lost a wallet/cellphone. I managed to trace the culprits using a software called Wavesecure installed on my cellphone. Handed them over to the township "courts" and lets just say, I doubt they will be walking again, robbing people.

In my street? Public place?

Please, you have no business in my street. You are welcome to come try :p

Bravo!

What OS is required for this software to work?

I didn't claim to have a magical 8-ball answer. I'm merely commenting on the ridiculous notion that pass laws, xenophobia, public violence, kangaroo courts and mob justice is the answer. And the notion that the streets belong to you is just naïve to top it all off...
