Just wondering how Schabir is-Is his recovery continuing?

My husband was diagnosed with hypertension/high blood pressure a while ago, so I started taking more of an interest in this illness.

AFAIK, that was Shaik's ailment too and the reason why he got medical parole.

So, my question/s - if Western medicine can (ostensibly) control hypertension, why is his considered a teminal illness? I do not have all that much medical knowledge about it, but has his crossed a certain dangerous threshold and already caused irreparable damage to his body? If not, just take your pills regularly and change your diet and lifestyle.

Interestingly enough, I noted that, contrary to earlier speculation, Shaik is not among the list of 149 convicted criminals who have applied and were recommended for a presidential pardon.

I only want to hear when he's been put down. He commited fraud, stole money from people, never mind the economy, had the balls to sue for interest and GOT IT and he's left to wonder around free. A bigger disgrace does not walk Durban's streets.

If he was so terminally ill, shouldn't he be dead by now?

The medical definition of teminal illness refers to 6 months left to live, I think.

"Terminal" means there is no reasonable medical hope for recovery and the patient is basically living out his last few months on earth.

Which is why people find it so infuriating when reports surface of him on the golf course, at restaurants, taking his kids to Toys R Us, etc.

And you never heard a word about it when everyone was so sure he'd get the pardon a few months ago. Not that he needs it.

Exactly, JZ obviously had Shaik take the fall for a couple of 'soft' months and a get-out-of-jail-free card. Oh .. and a job for his brother.
But that's the way of the ANC so better get used to it.

Obviously the ANC can't let their backers rot in jail... regardless of crimes.

I am sure I also read that the 3rd brother, Chippy "Fake" Shaik, the one with the fake degree, was back from Aus and walking the streets of Durban with head held high.

I certainly am no Supporter of Clive Derby-Lewis,but I wonder what he must think of this Shaik saga!!!

Do you have a link to such a list, and does it give individual names?
