Schick razer

I had the opposite experience. Bought the Schick titanium last week and i must say i have never used a shaver that gave me so much cuts before (what is the thin wire protection for again?). The blad started to drag after 3 days and i have to shave over the same spot over and over again just to get a smooth shave. i will rather pay double for gilette.

The quattro disposables? They are amazing. I guess pick and pay just makes up the prices as they seem to be about R35 even in other countries.

I have to replace the blades after every week (hardebaard!), whether Gillette, Wilkinson or Schick! Might have to go back to Minora's...

If the razor in the original thread is new then you guys could be in for a surprise later down the line.... the companies often release these products at an enticing price and then once everyone has bought them they will sneak the price of the blades up. The product is pretty useless without the blades so they know you are going to have to buy them....

As stated a while back in another thread, I switched from Gilette Mach 3 to Schick Quattro, initially because they costed half the price of the ridiculous Gilette blades. These Quattro blades are amazing. I use the same one for months without any degradation. It shaves better as well. I'll never use Gilette again.

Fully agree. I cannot believe the blades stay so sharp for that long. I throw the disposable one away because I have been using it for so long rather than because it is really blunt. I have also never cut myself. I have cut myself with the mach3 and with the other Schick disposable (3 blades one I think). The quattro's are cheap and so good I have not even wanted to bother to try the Gillette Fusion.
