Michael Schumacher has called off his Formula One comeback with Ferrari because of a neck injury, the driver confirmed on his website.

Well I have to say that sucks a whole lot.

Now F1 really sucks. Honda pulls out. Shumi pulls out. And next year BMW pulls out. If it goes on like this the F1 will disband itself.

I still say they should let the teams go wild wrt engine design etc... those who have the money should be allowed to spend it. This is after all supposed to be the pinnacle of motorsport.

Saying that though, I do half understand the reasoning for imposing restrictions... guess I'm just more interested in what could be produced if the guys had the freedom to do it.
