Science Must Fall? - UCT Fallist discusses Decolonization

That egit is being ridiculed all over the net, this will follow her for life.

I am feeling embarrassed to be sharing a country with people like this. They try their utmost best to prove Verwoerd right.

More cringe worthy is the SJWs trying to justify. Sad.

You know when I compare that to the chick in the videos take on decolonisation I still just hear a plaintiff call by someone with a victim mentality for recognition of their race as equally worthy as Europeans. I would imagine as a black person looking around for examples of black contributions to the modern world you're going to be faced with a few questions when said contributions are compared to the contributions of whites/Europeans. The chief question being why are blacks and other races so under represented in the lists of scientific and social contributions to the world.
There seem to be two general answers that the dumb student and the eloquent daily maverick guy represent: 1.) white supremacy has forced it's perspective of what is important and true on the rest of the world, and 2.) white supremacy has denigrated the contributions of non-Europeans.

There is a grain of truth to both those perspectives, but the fact is that for those of sub-Saharan African descent, no amount of trawling obscure history is going to dredge up a black Albert Einstein or Marie Curie and scrapping, Western science, even if it were possible would really mean restarting civilisation.

The fact is that for the past 400 years whitey has been at the fore front of progress in every sphere. The car, bus or taxi the vid chick used to get to that meeting exists thanks to whitey. The clothes she is wearing exist thanks to mass production processes developed by whitey. Her iPad, the camera filming her, the internet propagating her stupidity - all thanks to whitey.

And, ja, whitey couldn't have done it if it hadn't been for the Arabs and the Arabs couldn't have done it if it hadn't been for the Greeks and the Greeks couldn't have done it if it hadn't been for the Persians. And, of course none of it would have happened if it hadn't been for the Indians and the Chinese either. None of this has been much of a secret for the past century or so.

The point is that every culture that has been in the fore front of progress owes it's position to other cultures. If you want to know where the black African contribution to the world is, it's somewhere in the future. The more time you waste dredging up or trying to undo the past, the further into the future those contributions become.

Do you think the Asians decolonised science before becoming the economic power house of the planet? Do you think the Japanese scrapped Western science and developed a new Japanese science before becoming the leaders in technology? Do you think the Koreans and the Indians and the Chinese felt the need to do any of that before just picking up the ****ing ball and running with it? You don't have to look to the distant past to see the great Asian contributers to the modern world you just have to look to the present.

+1 Just wanted to write something similar.
"Bernard of Chartres used to say that we are as dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants, so that we can see more things than they, and things at a greater distance, not at any rate by virtue of sharpness of sight on our part, or any physical excellence, but because we are assisted and lifted up by their giant size."
Why do they want to drag us down is beyond me.

Maths and science - I can see why some people want a Sangoma to make it vanish .... it poses so many problems in our daily lives.

If that was anyone else I would have said that he is not speaking in his first language and you can sometimes get tongue tied pronouncing certain words and phrases in your second language. But zuma has proved himself to be cunning, arrogant, unethical as well as an imbecile. So f^ck him.

Absolutely awesome response, pity it is doubtful that a. the person in the video will see it or b. if she did she'd find some way of denying it.

Totally cracked up at the '**** falling from your face flap' comment.

"Racist fungus muppet"!!! ROFLMAO!!

These students should watch the very controversial 1915 racist movie Birth of a Nation who painted black people as superstitious and sitting in the House of Representatives behaving very inappropriately. In 2016 in SA students and government justify those racist over exaggerated stereotypes but they don't realize it. There are many parallels with that movie and today's society in SA but it won't be talked about because it's not politically correct.

Who is that idiot, name?

She's being ridiculed around the world for her stupidity and rightly so. No employer should ever hire one of these idiots but then again she'll probably end up as our minister of science & technology.
