What ever happened to giving the manager TIME? First Grant now Scolari. Wonder who will be stupid enough to take the job now.
For the money, who wont take the job?

They only investigated the last 2 seasons. It would have caused chaos if they looked at all previous season. You really think he only started cheating in his last two seasons??![]()
If you don't have confidence from your league performance you won't have the confidence for european.
Man utd missed keane for one match.
Why does it matter if we have italian players in our squad or not?? Besides we could argue all day long about what makes you italian, whether its your passport or who you chose to play for. Our squad has quite a lot of people with dual nationality.![]()
Your post shows a total lack of knowledge about Inter.
Funny enough, for all his cheating Roma, Milan and Lazio managed to win. Only Inter seemed to consistently fail.
You don't have confidence because you play poorly. Yes, that would have been the CL final right?
In Inter's case it is a symptom of a disease. That disease is trying to buy yourself championships - and failing.
I certainly don't have an enormous amount of knowledge of Inter, I will admit that. However you don't need to know everything about thoroughbreds to point out a donkey.
Enjoy your "tactical football".![]()
''Tactical'' football
I agree the Italian league is the best when it comes to tactical. I often feel people get confused when you speak about tactucal football.
Like the way Inter is playing now under Jose.
Grinding results, but not that impressive.
I agree with you saying people don't understand tactical football. Basically tactical football is not only defensive football, attacking football can be tactical.
The Italian league has some very clever coaches with interesting tactics. Their players are also very technical and intelligent - they won't sprint the entire field and then fail to play a one two because they overran the ball for instance.
I disagree with Inter grinding out results. Getting a bunch of 1 - 1 draws at home and losing away to Atalanta is hardly grinding out results. Mou did not with Chelsea, but not with Inter so far IMHO.
Those were 3 games. Any team goes through a bad run of form, its inevitable that it will happen during a long season. If Inter aren't getting results how do we find our selfs 7 clear at the top??
I also hope Inter beat ManU but looking at both teams' perfomances lately I don't think it will happen. Won't be surprised to see the following headline on Goal.com: "Brilliant United crush sorry Inter".![]()
It is not a question about form or who is on top. Grinding out a result means playing away to Atalanta and winning 1 - 0, when a fairer result would have been a draw or even an Atalanta win. Grinding out results means doing that the whole season through, with tough, hard victories, what it isn't is getting hammered 3 - 1 away.
Sorry, but it is what it is. It is no crime to admit that you are not the team you want to be, in fact it would be the first step in getting there. The fact that Inter live in their own little world where they are a tough team grinding out victories week in week out and would have won everything for the last 15 years had it not been for Moggi is the real reason why they won't go anywhere - not with thinking like that anyway.
Guus Hiddink is set to take over from Luiz Felipe Scolari as the manager of Chelsea until the end of the current season, after being granted permission by the Russian Football Union to talk to the club.
Guus Hiddink Believes He Will Be Chelsea Boss Next Week - Report
The head coach of the Russian national football team has told a Dutch radio station that he believes he will be in charge of Chelsea by next week...
The 62-year-old Dutchman revealed the chance to manage Chelsea on an interim basis was too good to ignore. However, he is committed to leading Russia to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and will not leave that role, which means Chelsea will be searching for yet another manager in the summer.
Chelsea have today appointed Guus Hiddink as their coach until the end of the season, as a statement on their official website confirms. The appointment had been expected over the last 48 hours, as the Dutchman, coach of the Russian national team and a close personal friend of Chelsea's oligarch Russian owner Roman Abramovich, emerged as the strong favourite to succeed Luiz Felipe Scolari.
The statement reads, "Chelsea Football Club is delighted to confirm Guus Hiddink will become temporary coach until the end of the season.
"He is due to meet the players later this week. The club would like to take this opportunity to thank the Russian Football Union for their understanding and cooperation."
