Scooter question

Thanks. I got my bike the next day as well. When they delivered it, they told me there is only about a litre in it. I had to fill it up with R50 as well. The bike had to go back today, a starter or sparkplug problem apparently :(. Getting it back tomorrow.

I haven't had any issues yet... hopefully won't have any - but I also have to send it back for the 'run in' service :)
I'm enjoying it though, scooter is jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaars! :)

I got it back yesterday afternoon and ever since I've been practicing like crazy. My top speed to date is 50km/h!! lol:D

I rode to Metro in Pinelands via de Waal and did 80/90 before I got a bit nervous...

Total noobs hey! hahaha.

Riding back was also a tad bit scary... I'm almost also tempted to use hand signals (I was a cyclist) when changing lanes (along with indicators!)

always believe that other road users have not seen you

Oh, fully agree!!! I totally do!
I'm enjoying riding the scooter, but I am smart enough not to get over confident and do something stupid.

ShaunyCT; You wanna add a 'oke' on Facebook called "Scoota Tuta" and join in on the next 'get together' and meet some other scooter riders. I missed the ride on Sunday, but won't miss the next one.

cool
also summer in CT on scooter = awesome

Can't wait! :D

Any idea rodga where one can get a topbox for a scooter, but a navy blue one? I know I can find a black one, but I see yellow bikes with yellow top boxes - I wanna keep the navy blue scheme going. :D

Congrat on the bikes, you guys will get windgat like the rest of us are/were in no time!

I was worse on my small bike than my superbike. Too much fun :D

But stay safe.

you gonna have to check with the dealer you bought it, sometimes they can get the same colour
but i have a feeling its gonna be easier to get a black one colour matched by a panel beater

Hi guys,

I have a question.

Between Big Boy scooters and Jonway scooters, what is the more reliable - more decent option to go for.

I chatted to a Jonway dealer and he has been very helpful and such.

Now I just chatted to a Big Boy fan boi and he bad mouths Jonway - which I expected.

Thanks!

Your asking the difference between shyte and schit... both are bad quality makes, bikes in general from china are just a no go, rather get a second hand Yamaha or Honda motorbike, they are reliable and easy to get parts for.

I've done a bit of checking around, probably will end up having to get a black top box, not really worried, black is close enough.

I forwarded your statement to BBS' and they said that what you saying is completely unfounded.
If you ride your bike like crap, don't look after it, don't send it for it's required services, it will break, same with anything - as for parts, all BBS dealers will get ANY part YOU request within 48 hours IF they do not have it in stock.

I guess time will tell because I am a owner of a BBS scooter now.

You did what? lol okay

Okay so I've reached a speed of +80km/h, but the bike did not want to go faster, so I've called Moto Mia to let them know about the problem.
Apparently I have to keep to a maximum speed of 60 km/h until I've reached the 300km mark when its due for its 1st run in service. Then only i can take it a bit higher after every +/- 50km.

The top speed of the bike is suppose to be +/-120km/h. what a bummer.. but its still a fun toy to have though.

I have to take my bike in at 500km for the run in service.
I have gotten to 90 but I didn't wanna go faster... was a bit nervous.
