Just look at all the hypocrisy in this thread, The same people saying Scott is a scammer and should refund people are the same people advocating for Starsat and praising them for not giving their customers refunds, and I dont see any of them calling Starsat a scammer either.

Why are there different rules for Scotts business?

I haven't taken salary or money from the business since Nov last year.

Reasons, not that they mean much or change anything:

1. Large loan June last year to order batteries, they're all sitting in the warehouse. That I also have to pay storage costs for.
2. Clearing agent stole several 100k from us by not paying our VAT and customs over in Nov last year, those were the delays in the beginning of the year. Loan to cover that.
3. Swine Flu, surgery and holiday: resulted in a backlog that we've now been hit with a massive customs bill that there is no cashflow to settle.
4. Informed Friday we have no recourse to cover the funds from the clearing agent, they did cut and run, lawyers bill on top of it.
5. Unable to pay creditors as of 1 Aug as a result of the above.
5. Meeting with auditors yesterday, legal requirement to liquidate as business cannot pay creditors, including the accountants.
6. Notice of decision to liquidate sent to creditors today and process started.

There never was any liquidation, so where did our money go?

I'm sure a lot has been deleted but yes he said he was unable to deliver on the orders.
Some of the users also showed communication with him and the suppliers where he added goods to the shopping cart and then sent that as "proof" that the order was placed. The user then contacted the supplier who stated no such order was submitted. When asked to reply to that he went silent.

I still dont see where the scam is here.
 
Cute how he asks all the people who he has scammed to contact him. He is well aware of all the orders which were not completed. If there was any drive to actually right his wrongs he could have contacted all of those customers himself.

His way of getting out of his responsibility ... "I told the people to contact me, but they didn't, so tough **** for them"
